Take part in testing the new Software Informer

We're excited to announce that we're putting finishing touches on a brand-new version of our Software Informer application. It's not quite ready for prime time yet, but you can test it right now and see what the future holds.

The new version has been written from ground up - it looks different, it feels different, and it works a little bit differently. You're more than welcome to leave your comments and suggestions - at this stage, anything can be changed if it's not good enough.

It does not look great at all.
I like a clean text interface instead of a huge graphical interface. Bigger is not always better.

Not quite ready yet. I've been providing feedback through the ticket system, but no tickets are registered for me. All disappearing into a black hole?

Were those related to the versions of Adobe products by any chance? Those did get through, no worries.
If they weren't, could you tell me under which name you filed your tickets?

Seems good, but how about letting the user decide where to put the downloaded setup file!

Nice. Now, it is totally comparable to app store, google play store and windows store.

That looks great! I really like the new design of the Software Informer client's interface, especially this new "update" button, which now allows me to automatically download any update I want, without visiting developers' web sites.

Indeed the new version looks much better and works amazingly well, I can say that besides showing a new version of Shockwave player which is no new 1 officially, all works very well, good job!

Well, it works great, feels great, looks great, except that that Shockwave player has no new update officially, I have no idea from where it gets the info about the update version.

I've actually installed Shockwave Player by following the suggestion from the new Software Informer. The download works perfectly, and my installed version is now 12.0.7.148, just as stated. Does the update not work for you?
